Really, really like this tree! I would never copy someone's work but I hope you don't mind that I study your work and try to learn from it.

Thanks for your comment, Judith. I don't mind if you study my work; I'm flattered that you like it that much. One tip: on this piece, I painted the shadow areas in red before going over them in darker, cooler colors. I think this gives the shadows a certain glow.
